An engaging, broad and eclectic selection of techno, Floating Mists, Warm Vistas, is a dynamic, expansive release and Vell's debut EP on Boiled Wonderland Records.

The EP's title track, 'Floating Mists, Warm Vistas,' is a sonic journey through a soundscape filled with a rolling bassline, dystopian synths that sparkle like laser lights, and captivating break-driven drums. The result is a late-night ambiance perfectly suited for any lively dancefloor. Taking a bold step in a new direction, 'Powerful Cool' combines complex polytonal percussion elements with ethereal synths and live reverb-filled woodwinds, creating a hypnotic and euphoric listening experience. Vell's experience as a live musician shines through in 'Burning Trees,' featuring an upbeat selection of live-looped saxophone parts expertly juxtaposed against breakbeat drums and enthralling basslines, resulting in a moving and uplifting track.
Adding an extra layer of excitement, the EP includes a remix of 'Burning Trees' by rising star and Dubai-based producer, Rudoh. Rudoh's remix showcases his skill set as a beat shaper, masterfully cutting and slicing through breaks and introducing new vocal samples to craft a high-impact banger sure to ignite every dancefloor.

Hailing from the UK and now based in Bangkok, Vell's strong ties to the city's electronic music network are evident through his co-founding of Boiled Wonderland Records, and Bangkok Community Radio. Vell's diverse skill set as a performer extends to playing a wide range of instruments, which he often incorporates into his productions and live sets. Throughout the last 12 months, Vell has shared lineups with celebrated artists like Diskonnected and Priori, Ciel and Sansibar as well as performed at Wonderfruit festival, and released music on Boiled Wonderland Records alongside label favorites such as DOTT and Sarayu.
